Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A CLI tool for bundling, signing, and managing ZXP files.

Installation

npm install -g zxp-cli

Usage

zxp-cli cert --password mypassword
zxp-cli sign --password mypassword
zxp-cli copy
zxp-cli copyFolder

Third-Party Software

This tool includes ZXPSignCmd, which is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. For more information, see the Adobe CEP Resources repository.

The ZXPSignCmd executable is bundled in the bin/ directory of this tool.

Configuration

You can configure the tool using environment variables. Create a .env file in your project directory with the following variables:

ORGANIZATION=MyCompany
USER_NAME=JohnDoe
COUNTRY_CODE=US
STATE_CODE=NY
CERTIFICATE_NAME=my-cert.p12
CERTIFICATE_PASSWORD=securepassword
SOURCE_DIRECTORY=output
OUTPUT_ZXP_FILE=.build/my-app.zxp
TARGET_DIR=C:\Custom\Adobe\Extensions

If no .env file is provided, the tool will use default values.
