Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Zarviq

Zarviq is a unique ID generator utility for Node.js, providing easy-to-use methods to create unique identifiers. It combines the current timestamp with a random string to generate a unique ID each time.

Installation

You can install Zarviq via npm:

npm install zarviq

Usage

First, require the package in your project and then use the generateUniqueID function to create unique IDs.

Example

const zarviq = require('zarviq');

const uniqueID = zarviq.generateUniqueID();
console.log(uniqueID); // Outputs a unique ID

TypeScript

If you are using TypeScript, you can import the function as follows:

import { generateUniqueID } from 'zarviq';

const uniqueID: string = generateUniqueID();
console.log(uniqueID); // Outputs a unique ID

API

generateUniqueID(): string

Generates a unique ID by combining the current timestamp with a random string.
