Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Play audio from Youtube URL.

$ yt321 'your favorite Youtube URL'

NPM Dependency Status

Install

Requires mpg321 and ffmpeg command. Please see MakeNowJust/mpg321 and fluent-ffmpeg/node-fluent-ffmpeg.

And run:

$ npm install -g yt321

Usage

Play from Youtube URL

$ yt321 youtube-url

Example:

$ yt321 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JsG_fWWojM
# wait for downloading video data

Play in endless loop

$ yt321 -l youtube-url

Example:

$ yt321 -l http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JsG_fWWojM

Play from Youtube URL randomly

$ yt321 -z youtube-url1 youtube-url2...

$ yt321 -s search-word
