Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

the civil society has been hit hard by the global economic crisis. in an effort to help, the association of national academies of sciences, engineering, and medicine (nasem) selected 13 science-based recommendations to address the need for increased training and research to address the crisis and its effects on civil society. the full report is available at

since its establishment, the international criminal court (icc) has been the target of criticisms for its failure to arrest and prosecute the most serious of crimes, such as genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. despite its position of supremacy, the icc has not captured the imagination of the world, because it has never been able to provide a convincing case for its capacity to handle such cases. this project will provide evidence to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between the icc and the csos in african countries. the project will examine the relationship between the icc and civil society, and will also seek to determine whether the lack of accountability and the criminalisation of csos have an impact on the operations of csos.

the project aims to address the impact of climate change on africa and help african countries to prepare for future climate change. climate change is already affecting people in many african countries. it is not only an environmental problem, but it also threatens human health. climate change is becoming a major challenge for africa, since it is one of the poorest regions in the world. in africa, it is estimated that it will take at least 50 years to reduce the emissions to the level of 1990. to meet this objective, the project will develop a 3d civil engineering model for climate change impact assessment of african cities. the model will consist of: a 3d gis environment; an urban planning and zoning tool; a surface water transport tool; and a hydrologic modelling tool. 84d34552a1
