Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

ws-logger : LoggerService for angular4

Build Status

Easy logger through ES5/Typescript with injectable service.

This is a library to make logger service more powerful. There are 4 level and each level' consola-print has its colors and styles, also support to custom them.

Add the package into your project

npm install ws-logger --save

This package also need my regex package "ws-regex", it will be add in automatically, but try to add it if any mistake.

npm install ws-regex --save

The injection work

import { LoggerService, LOGGER_SERVICE_CONFIG } from 'ws-logger';

// ...
@NgModule({
  declarations: [
   // ...
  ],
  imports: [
    // ...
  ],
  providers: [
    // ...
    /* provide config to close debug mode and details for production mode in logger service if need. */
    { provide: LOGGER_SERVICE_CONFIG, useValue: {
        Level: environment.production? 1 : 0,
        IsProduction: environment.production
        }
     },
    /*you should add service here.*/
    LoggerService
  ],
  bootstrap: [RootComponent]
})
export class AppModule { }

Then you can get the singleton service anywhere you need by constructor-injection:

    constructor(private lgsrv: LoggerService) {
        this.lgsrv.Info({ name: 'dhvad', age: 50 }, '3mhgd');
    }

And you will see the message in the console of broswer:

Anyway, it's a simple way to use logger service because it's impossible to get the file location and the component name. Typescript has no metedata in runtime and the service is in singleton mode.

Use in logger instance

You can get more powerful logger features by call GetLogger<T>(...):

   private logger: Logger<IdentityService>;

   constructor(private lgsrv: LoggerService) {
       this.logger = lgsrv.GetLogger(IdentityService).SetModule('service')
       this.logger.Info({ name: 'dhvad', age: 50 }, '3mhgd');
   }

And you will see the message in the console of broswer:

You can show the file position in color grid.

More styles and levels

       this.logger.Debug(['title', 'dhjvasdvjsvjsdvjsvd', new Date()], 'this_method');
       this.logger.Warn(['nothing for', new Date()], '2method');
       this.logger.Error('nothing for', 'ssgsdrr');
       this.logger.Info({ name: 'dhvad', age: 50 }, '3mhgd');

I will provide methods for custom-styles and more features later.

Custom styles now is avalible

You should use logger instance to custom your log styles, you can set some level-styles in constructor so that the whole component socpe can use them.

/*change target level style.*/
this.logger.SetLogStyle(LogType.Debug, {
  icon: `background-color:black;font-size:1.6em;color:white;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';font-weight:900`,
  msg: `font-size:1.3em;font-weight:700;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';line-height:1.6;`,
  route: 'background-color:#a4e2c6;line-height:1.2;',
  descrb: `color:#787878;font-family:'Century Gothic';line-height:1.7;background-color:#fafafa;`,
  stamp: `font-size:0.6em;font-family:'Century Gothic';line-height:1.5;`
}).Debug(...);

/** you alse can changes all styles for logger.
  * [Debug, Info, Warn, Error]
  */
this.logger.SetLogStyle([
    {
        icon: `background-color:#3eb370;font-size:1.6em;color:white;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';font-weight:900`,

]);

/*anyway ,you can use property instead.*/
this.logger.LogStyles = [

        stamp: `font-size:0.6em;font-family:'Century Gothic';line-height:1.5;`
    },
    {
        icon: `background-color:#c93756;font-size:1.6em;color:white;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';font-weight:900`,
        msg: `font-size:1.3em;font-weight:700;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';line-height:1.6;`,
        route: 'background-color:#ffb3a7;line-height:1.2;',
        descrb: `color:#787878;font-family:'Century Gothic';line-height:1.7;background-color:#fafafa;`,
        stamp: `font-size:0.6em;font-family:'Century Gothic';line-height:1.5;`
    }
];

You can changes styles in the provider, so that all scope will use your custom-settings.

@NgModule({
  declarations: [
    // ...
  ],
  imports: [
    // ...
  ],
  providers: [
    { provide: LOGGER_SERVICE_CONFIG, useValue: { Level: level, IsProduction: isProd, styles:[
        {
            icon: `background-color:#3eb370;font-size:1.6em;color:white;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';font-weight:900`,
            msg: `font-size:1.3em;font-weight:700;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';line-height:1.6;`,
            route: 'background-color:#a4e2c6;line-height:1.2;',
            descrb: `color:#787878;font-family:'Century Gothic';line-height:1.7;background-color:#fafafa;`,
            stamp: `font-size:0.6em;font-family:'Century Gothic';line-height:1.5;`
        },
        {
            icon: `background-color:#4c6cb3;font-size:1.6em;color:white;font-family:'Century Gothic','YaHei';font-weight:900`,
