Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

sonix, i was not sure if when mmtool is present in ubu folder it was used by prority over uefireplace or not. now it is clear for me. does the mmtool is required invite criteria is only for bios aptio v and when for some user specific edit such as codes updates or for any other criteria by the way, did you remember the provisoire fix you indicate me few times ago into a previous ubu version to avoid windows explorer crash at ubu tool exit i thought it was fixed definitively but i do observe a such problem again with ubu v1.72.1 as reported in post #90 (the downloadable 7zipped file offered via the link does offer the full ubu v1.1 folder, so you can do the in-depth analysis of the full ubu folder and check again why the problem does re-appear again).

no use of mmtool is required and actually, for the best of my knowledge, the mmtool does not offer any advantages over the uefireplace option. the uefireplace option enables you to modify one or more rst files in any order you want and (as i remember) as you want in the different variants provided by ubu. any time, you can press any key to exit the ubu tool as long as it is active. so, you can do anything you want, including change the rst files, without needing any other software or tool.

so, as i see it, the mmtool is a must have option to be provided when available in a ubu tool. i have not seen a ubu tool that do not offer this possibility. in fact, it is not a setting to be configured by the user, but a built-in option offered by the ubu tool. i have seen ubu tools that enable you to modify the rst files in any order you want, but this is not the case for the mmtool. it is not even the case for some ubu tools. some ubu tools only have access to the rst files directly provided by the mother board manufacturer. 84d34552a1
