winston-annotate
A package to annotate Winston logging with string prefixes. For example:
info: This is a normal log message
info: [prefix A] This is an annotated message with "[prefix A]"
This functionality can be used to indicate what modules log messages are coming from.
Installation & Usage
npm install winston-annotate
In your application:
var winston = require('winston');
var logger = require('winston-annotate')(winston, '[ModuleNameHere]');
logger.info('Test!');
Output:
info: [ModuleNameHere] Test!
