Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

WebdriverIO Markdown Reporter

A WebdriverIO plugin to report in Markdown style.

Reporter

Installation

You can simple do it by:

npm install wdio-markdown-reporter --save-dev

Instructions on how to install WebdriverIO can be found here.

Configuration

At the top of the wdio.conf.js-file, add:

// wdio.conf.js
var markdownReporter = require("wdio-markdown-reporter");

In order to use the service you need to add reporter to your services array in wdio.conf.js

// wdio.conf.js
export.config = {
  reporter: : [
    [markdownReporter, {
      outputDir: ' ',
    }],
  ],
};

Configuration Options

The following configuration options are supported and are all optional. By default none of the config options are set.

outputDir

Define a directory where your markdown file should get stored.

Type: String Required

Merge all *.md files

To generate only one markdown file use the concat-cli CLI to concat the files

concat-cli -f ./markdown-reporter/*.md -o mergeResult.md
