Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

npm

$ npm install virtual-keyboard-plugin --save

yarn

Configuration

  • Add fontawesome css file in your index.html
  • Add virtual-keyboard.css which is inside the node_modules/virtual-keyboard folder
  • Add the javascript file of the virtual-keyboard plugin in your index.html (before body or after as you want)

  • add 'virtual-keyboard' as an attribute of your input/text-area
  • Create a new HTML element that will serve as a button to open the virtual keyboard and add to it two attributes :
    1. 'data-target-id': 'input_id' => put the Id of the input that will be used by the virtual keyboard
    2. 'data-keyboard-mapping': 'azerty' or 'qwerty' => set 'azerty' as value if you want azerty layout or 'qwerty' if you want qwerty layout
