• Deployed a blockchain ICO smart contract to the Ethereum network, written in Solidity, during company hackathon. Previously, built a React task-management front end with decentralized IPFS infrastructure.
• Drafted, and executed on, the design document for the internationalization (i18n) of asana.com into multiple languages, with user language detection and auto-switching at the edge layer using Varnish.
• Improved deploy time performance 10x. Built out an automated continuous deployment pipeline (CI), leveraging distributed systems via Amazon ElasticBeanstalk (AWS) and Python.
• Architected a data analytics tool for company-wide metrics. Aggregates near-real-time data into a visual interface, tracking revenue, customer interaction, account health, and other metrics. Built on Aurora MySQL, Python Flask, React TypeScript.
• Reduced production server needs from 30+ down to 4 machines for asana.com, performance optimizations took response time down from 500ms to sub 200ms.
• Implemented edge caching for increased worldwide performance.
• Secured valuable non-public information via Google OAuth 2.0 on multiple services using the Google API Client Libraries
