Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Duke will feature 44 athletes competing across 27 track and field events.

Fresh off a pair of stellar performances during the first two meets of the outdoor campaign, the Duke track and field program earned spots in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) top-25 rankings released Monday afternoon.
The women's squad debuted at No. 4 on the charts – the highest regular-season national ranking in program lore. Duke's men checked in at No. 24 in the polls, earning its best placement in the USTFCCCA rankings since 2012. In the Southeast regional rankings, the Blue Devil women are ranked first while the men check in at fourth.
The Blue Devils are one of seven ranked teams in the top 20 from the ACC, joining No. 6 NC State, No. 7 Miami, No. 11 Florida State, No. 12 Virginia, No. 18 Notre Dame and No. 19 Clemson. Additionally, the Blue Devil women sit fourth in the southeast region. On the men's side, the Blue Devils join No. 6 Virginia, No. 14 Florida State, No. 17 Notre Dame and No. 19 Clemson in the top 25.
Duke's women's 4x400m relay squad leads the NCAA with a time of 3:31.98, which it set this past weekend at the Raleigh Relays. The Blue Devils have posted five additional top-10 national marks in the steeplechase (second), 400m (sixth), javelin (sixth), pole vault (10th) and heptathlon (10th). For the men's squad, Duke has turned in a trio of top-five national marks in the discus throw (third), high jump (fourth) and javelin (fourth).
Friday's schedule consists of field events only, beginning with the men's hammer throw and men's high jump, at 10:00 a.m.
An action-packed Saturday slate opens via the women's hammer throw at 9:00 a.m. On the track, Duke gets going at 1:10 p.m., in the 400m hurdles.
