Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Install

  • Install Node.js (Project Made On Node.js version v16.13.2)

Getting Started

Recommended

  • Install via npm
npm install -g val-cli
  • Run in command line
val-cli

Manually

  • Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/ItzZed/val-cli.git
  • Install dependencies
cd val-cli
npm install

Usage/Examples

Run the project

val-cli

Known Bugs

  • On first open the program will not work and spam auth error + a config file not being found
    • To circumvent this run val-cli --setup
  • entering any config command besides --setup causes problems...
  • DOES NOT SUPPORT 2FA
  • Config file loading is just straight up jenky
