Why usesoap?
To clean away grime, (code) smells and such in order to make it harder for bad code (and viruses?) to tag along.
Seriously, too few projects use linting, and 🔥too much expertise 🔥is required🔥 to properly set up the today's tools.
Competition
If usesoap is not for you, then maybe you can still have use for some of its components? usesoap is made of
prettier
https://www.npmjs.com/package/prettier- tiny bits of code
- E.S.Lint (not a German, this one ☞
eslint
☜ ✌. As if you weren't already aquainted?) - NODE_PATH, eslint issue tracker sleuthing, and hacks
- and political correctness? *So, it's like this: I asked
alex
and he/she/it told me this text is probably not insentisive. But if anyone feels offended, why not come along for this ride, and see where it takes us? It might be more fun even to be together, even if offended.
Actual competition
Ok, so I kind of skipped over those:
xo
https://www.npmjs.com/package/xo - this one is really close to what I wanted to achieve. Famous create-react-app uses xo and alex on incoming PRs.- HegelJS https://hegel.js.org/
- TypeScript's linter
- flow https://flow.org/en/
- JSLHint https://jshint.com/about/ And all the linters and languages that are not in the ECMAScript TC39 (or javascript) crowd.
