unist-util-to-string-with-nodes
Provide API to give visible text of given unist node tree, also provide a list of nodes, each corresponding to every character inside returned text;
Installation
npm install unist-util-to-string-with-nodes
Usage
var remark = require('remark');
var toString = require('unist-util-to-string-with-nodes');
var tree = remark().parse('Some _emphasis_, **importance**, and `code`.');
const { text, nodes } = toString(tree);
where text is Some emphasis, importance, and code.
and nodes is:

API
const { text, nodes } = toString(tree)
This function will iterate through given tree to generate list of characters from text and generate a list of nodes corresponding to each characters in this text string.
For list of nodes, each should have following data structure.
{
value: 'c', // current character
column: 1, // column number of this character
line: 1, // line number of this character
offset: 1, // offset number of this character
}
