Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Trump Commit

Trump Commit is a global npm module that lets you commit code with a Trump-style message. Simply run the trump-commit command and it will generate a random message from a list of predefined messages and commit your code with that message.

Installation

To install Trump Commit, run the following command:

npm install -g trump-commit

This will install the Trump Commit module globally, making it available from anywhere in your terminal.

Usage

To use Trump Commit, navigate to the directory containing the code you want to commit and run the following command:

trump-commit 

This will generate a random message from a list of predefined messages and commit your code with that message.

You can also specify a custom message using the -m or --message option:

trump-commit -m "Make code great again!"
