Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

tidy-repo

👷 Better git clone. Keep repository directory neat and tidy.

Installation

Requires node v7.6.0 or higher for ES2015 and async function support.

$ npm i tidy-repo --global

Usage

$ repo

  Description
    Better git clone.
    Keep repository folders neat and tidy.

  Usage
    $ repo <command> [options]

  Available Commands
    init      Initial config files. (Location: /Users/ucweb/.tidy-repo/config.json)
    add       Add repository cleverly.
    import    Import repositories from existing directory.
    help      Show help message.

  For more info, run any command with the `--help` flag
    $ repo init --help
    $ repo add --help

  Options
    -v, --version    Displays current version
    -h, --help       Displays this message

Config

$ repo init

Then edit hostMap in ~/.tidy-repo/config.json .

Example:

Lifecycle

Available lifecycle:

  • [x] preadd

Write lifecycle

Add ${lifecycle-name}.js into ~/.tidy-repo/lifecycle/, and write anything in javascript.

Example:

console.log('hello', process.env.TIDY_REPO_TARGETPATH);

You can get some variable in process.env.

Available environment variables:
