Tedious NTLM (node implementation of TDS with experimental NTLM support.)
Tedious is an implementation of the TDS protocol, which is used to interact with instances of Microsoft's SQL Server.
It is intended to be a fairly slim implementation of the protocol, with not too much additional functionality.
This forked version of Tedious is a work in progress towards NTLM authentication. Your mileage may vary. To enable NTLM authentication simply supply a domain name in the configuration passed to the connection.
var tds = require("tedious");
var config = {
userName: 'dba',
domainName: "mydomain",
password: 's3cr3t',
server: 'mssql-001',
options: {
instanceName: "Instance_Name",
database: "MyDB",
debug: {
packet: false,
payload: false,
token: false,
data: false
},
encrypt: true
}
};
var connection = new tds.Connection(config);
Name
Tedious is simply derived from a fast, slightly garbled, pronunciation of the letters T, D and S.
Status
Current version: v0.1.0
Coming soon
Although subject to change, this is the rough plan for the next few versions.
- support for more data types for parameters
- possible support for varchar(max), nvarchar(max) and varbinary(max) as streams
unplanned
- decoding of column metadata flags
- full decoding of collation data
- ability to cancel a request
