Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Welcome to tCheckers! A terminal-based Checkers game built with React and Ink, designed to bring the classic board game experience right to your command line. 🏁

Quick Start 🚀

You can start playing tCheckers right away using the following command:

npx tcheckers

This command will download and run the game without needing to install it globally. 🎉

How to Play 🕹️

  1. Start the Game: Run npx tcheckers in your terminal.
  2. Main Menu: Choose to start a new game or exit.
  3. Game Board: Use the keyboard to select and move pieces.
  4. Win the Game: Capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them from making a move.
