Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Taxler

Calculate your crypto taxes for ~~trading~~ (not yet), mining, liquidity mining, staking and lending. Taxler is currently an alpha version and there is no guarantee that calculations are correct and complete. Use at your own risk.

npm

Usage

  • If needed install Node
  • Navigate to the folder you want to save your transactions and reports.
  • Run this to init the folder
    npx taxler init
  • Copy your files to the correct folders and adapt config.json.
  • Run taxler
    npx taxler

Open the Stackblitz Taxler Demo and follow the instructions in the README file.

Enter your API key in the config.json file which is generated with the init command.

Contribute

You can contribute to this project by writing a new plugin. It is as easy as creating a new file in the Plugin Folder and then register it in the Plugin Registry.

It just requires a few lines of code, take a look at the plugins listed above by clicking on them.
