Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

¿What if the god of perfect language, Rust, and the god of the web, Typescript, had a baby? Well, this is it, Tauri + Astro, the perfect combination to make the web a whole new world.

pnpm install tauri-astro-app - astro-tauri-app tauri-astro - astro-tauri then cargo tauri dev and enjoy :)

Tauri 1.4 + Astro 3

This template should help get you started developing with Tauri 1.8, Astro 3 and TypeScript in the most amazing agnostic place, the TRUE WEB IS HERE.

For security reasons, the npm packages are published yet, and you can use them locally, just clone this repo and run pnpm install, in the root folder, then pnpm run build and then cargo tauri dev to start the app.

Steps to use pnpm

First install pnpm globally

npm install -g pnpm

Then install the dependencies

pnpm install

Finally, run the app

cargo tauri dev

That's it!

Recommended IDE Setup

VS Code + Astro + Tauri + rust-analyzer.

We use MIT License, so feel free to use this template and make your own apps, and if you want to contribute, you are welcome to do it.
