Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

With the AxiS MCC-43-L you can capture high quality images with ease. You have the option of 8-65x zoom and can have it delivered or setup as a wall mounted camera. The remote control allows you to check the live view and zoom the camera on or off. The additional features include close focus support, Optical Image Stabilization and GPS (for outdoors).

Huge time-saving improvements are also made to the Edit-View-Apply workflow. Edit-View-Apply provides the ability to view an edited clip in the Viewer and simultaneously apply the edits to the clip. The Shift-Actions menu in the Viewer allows for quick access to selected recordings. The Camera Function menu provides quick access to the eight most frequently used camera functions and the Teleprompter Function menu provides quick access to the teleprompter functions for standard or custom. Finally, you can configure up to three personalized menus and they can be displayed in any of the four Main screens and are automatically synchronized when switching between the screens.

For full control and monitoring during production, you can use the Secure Fader for a local control of any of the camera’s functions. With the right topology you can control channelgroup or camera settings with the Fader, and you can have a monitor of selected camera functions under one graph in the control window. Additional camera settings can be monitored on the Secure Fader. All of the functions are displayed on the LCD of the Secure Fader. No extra hardware or software is needed. The Secure Fader allows to change of camera channels without the need for a master control console and to have control over a large number of cameras. It’s especially helpful when working with an IP camera network which enables you to have full control over camera settings. The LCD display provides you with camera settings, camera name, serial number, status and the selected camera group. You can display four camera groups in the control window (CC,VC,AVC and GRIP) and select one of them in the menu. All of the functions are displayed on the LCD of the Secure Fader, such as the camera’s shooting mode, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, exposure compensation and white balance, as well as the audio level and gain. When changing channels, you can choose the camera that you want to control and press the Main Channel button to switch to that camera. When you return to a previously controlled camera, the camera automatically starts the camera in the last used channel setting. Press the Fade Mode button to adjust the Fader position. When the Fader is at maximum, the selected function is displayed on the LCD. The Fader position has to be less than 1, as the Secure Fader can not be more than 1 stop wide. You can change the Fader position with the right mouse button. Press the Display Positions button to display the last used positions on the screen. Press the Position Lock button to lock the Fader position. 84d34552a1
