swf-metrics 
Introspective metrics and breakdowns of pending and finished AWS Simple Workflow executions.
swf-metrics is a command line tool which will help you answer the following questions about your AWS Simple Workflow executions:
- what are the main failure reasons?
- which activity fails the most?
- what is the current completion status?
- what is the time to complete of each activity?
Installation
With node/npm
$ npm install -g swf-metricsWith Docker
A docker image is automatically built and made available on Docker Hub.
$ docker pull bbcrd/swf-metricsConfigure
Ensure the following environment variables are set prior to running swf-metrics:
AWS_DEFAULT_REGIONAWS_ACCESS_KEY_IDAWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY
Use
$ swf-metrics <command> --domain <domain> [options]
Commands:
failed [--no-breakdown] Display metrics about failed workflows.
pending Display metrics about pending workflows.
completed Display metrics about completed workflows.
Options:
--domain SWF domain to get metrics from [string] [required]
--duration Duration of time of data to retrieve since the value of
--since. Eg: 6hours, 1day, etc.
[string] [default: [1,"hour"]]
--workflow-id Retrieve metrics only for this workflow execution.
[string]
--time-threshold Hide cell values below this threshold (in seconds).
[number] [default: 1]
--since Position in time from which we start retrieving the
history of data. [string]
--help Show help [boolean]
--version Show version number [boolean]With Docker
