Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

SVG to PNG Converter

A module for converting SVG to PNG format from URL, content, file.

Installation

To install the SVG to PNG Converter module, use the following command:

npm install svgctr

Functions

convertFromUrl(svgUrl, outputPath, callback)

Converts an SVG file from a URL to PNG format and saves it to the specified output path.

  • svgUrl (string): The URL of the SVG file.
  • outputPath (string): The path where the PNG image will be saved.
  • callback (function): The callback function to handle the result or error. It receives two parameters: error (if any) and imageDataUrl (the resulting PNG image data URL).

convertFromContent(svgContent, outputPath, callback)

Converts an SVG content to PNG format and saves it to the specified output path.

  • svgContent (string): The content of the SVG file.
  • outputPath (string): The path where the PNG image will be saved.
  • callback (function): The callback function to handle the result or error. It receives two parameters: error (if any) and imageDataUrl (the resulting PNG image data URL).

convertFromLocalFile(filePath, outputPath, callback)

Converts an SVG file from the local filesystem to PNG format and saves it to the specified output path.

  • filePath (string): The path of the SVG file.
