if anyone thinks that he may enter paradise after having to endure a long period of trials and tribulations in the world, then his case is like that of one of the disbelievers, for whom are a kind of life and death, then the life of the world and the life of the hereafter. then the disbelievers will have regrets from their lord and say: oh if only we had obeyed allah and obeyed his messenger. then allah will respond to them on the day of resurrection with: what is it that you had been doing? they will say: we had believed, and you made us disbelieve.
allah almighty has created this earth and everything on it with a purpose. he has endowed it with its conditions and laws and appointed for every one of them their proper duties, time and place of performance. therefore, the earth is a vital system and all its elements and affairs are under the control of allah almighty. everything is in harmony and equilibrium with one another and is all connected with the unified movement of god's operations. the sun rises and it goes to its eastern course and settles down on its western course. or vice versa. the nights are alternated by the days. the days are alternating with the nights. the seasons are alternated by the years and so are the seasons of the years in their months. the years begin with the appearance of one arabic word and end with the appearance of another, and after each one of these the word appears again at the beginning. allah gives the whole world its laws and arrangements. if you would hear the name of god, you can hear the song and words of his praises, which are heard everywhere. all this is finished in his knowledge and power. the universe is what you see and experience on earth. everything here is made for you. you see plants grow, the trees grow and trees bear fruits. you see fish, rivers and springs. you see heaven, the earth, the animal, birds and insects. you see the air on your face. you see the water which you drink and drink it. you see the trees which bear dates, olive, figs and olives. you see clothes, food and drinks. you see mosques, animals of all kinds, houses, houses and people. you see and use the earth. how shall you expect to understand the universe if you do not understand it with your own eyes and feel it with your own body? if you have not noticed it with your eyes, you will not be able to understand it with your ears and you will not be able to grasp it with your minds. you can acquire knowledge only through seeing it and experiencing it. the quran has come down to us in its easiest and most understandable form, for this has been the means of its preservation.
