Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Steamcards NPM

This npm module gets the steam trading cards from a users inventory. It's done using the "request" modules and steams servers.

Please update to the 2.0 version. It supports async functions.

Install

npm install steamcards --save
//--save is optional.

Import

const steamcards = require('steamcards'); //Import the module

Methods

//This is the main method
steamcards(steam64id).then(body).catch(err)
  • steam64id: This is the users steam64 id that's required for the request.

Examples

This is the examples on how you can use this module.

Display all the information

steamcards('76561197977460688', then(body => {
    console.log(body);
}).catch(err => console.log(err));

Output

There is of course lots of more information but this is just an example on what you will recieve as the output in the console.
