Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Typing Bot with Node.js and robotjs,

A CLI tool to automate typing and sending messages at regular intervals.

Prerequisites

  • Node.js: Ensure you have Node.js installed on your system.

Notes

The script uses the robotjs library to simulate keyboard input. Ensure that your system and environment are compatible with robotjs

Linux -

  • On Linux, additional dependencies may be needed. Install them using:
sudo apt-get install build-essential libxtst-dev libpng++-dev

Windows -

  • On Windows, additional build tools may be needed. You can install them using npm install --global --production windows-build-tools
npm install --global --production windows-build-tools

MacOS -

  • On macOS, Xcode Command Line Tools are required. You can install them using xcode-select --install
xcode-select --install

ssspeedx installation

We can now inatall ssspeedx =>

npm i -g ssspeedx

⚠️ Warning: Please use ssspeedx responsibly and avoid using it for spamming purposes.

USages

To run the program =>

ssspeedx
  • now follow the actions

To check the current version =>

ssspeedx -v  Or,  ssspeedx --version

To display help messages =>

ssspeedx --help

Update package if available =>

npm update -g ssspeedx

Uninstallation =>

npm uninstall -g ssspeedx
