Slush Express API Generator

Build Express-based REST APIs.

Getting Started

Install slush-express-api globally:

$ npm install -g slush-express-api

Usage

Create a new folder for your project:

$ mkdir my-express-api

Run the generator from within the new folder:

$ cd my-express-api && slush express-api

To start developing run:

$ gulp

Your app will now be live on localhost:8888. You can verify this by using curl from the command line:

$ curl :8888
{"message":"Oh hai"}

Getting To Know Slush

Slush is a tool that uses Gulp for project scaffolding.

Slush does not contain anything "out of the box", except the ability to locate installed slush generators and to run them with liftoff.
