Command to install module

npm install simple-node-crypto

Usage:

How to hash

const {Hash} = require('simple-node-crypto');

const hash = Hash('password123');

console.log(hash);

It will return data like this

How to verify hash

const {Hash, verifyHash} = require('simple-node-crypto');

const hash = Hash('password123');

console.log(verifyHash('password123', hash.salt, hash.hash));

It will return either

true
or
false

How to generate keys

const {keyGen} = require('simple-node-crypto');

keyGen();

This will make a public.pem and private.pem in the root of your project

How to encrypt and decrypt data

const {Encrypt, Decrypt} = require('simple-node-crypto');

let data = 'This is a test';

let encrypt = Encrypt('./public.pem', data);

console.log(encrypt.toString('hex'));

let decrypt = Decrypt('./private.pem', encrypt);

console.log(decrypt.toString());
