show-front

Description

Show defined directory as frontend via HTTP server.

Installation

npm install -g show-front

Using template

show-front [<directory>] [-h <hostname>] [-p <port>] [-l <logfile>]

Params

• <directory> - directory to show;
• -h <hostname> - server hostname, default value is localhost;
• -p <port> - server port, default value is 3000;
• -l <logfile> - log file path.

Using samples

# Simple start in current directory.
show-front
# Now you can see directory "./" at "localhost:3000".

# Start with user-defined directory.
show-front dir_name
# Now you can see directory "dir_name" at "localhost:3000".

# Start with user-defined directory and hostname.
show-front dir_name -h 10.10.1.100
# Now you can see directory "dir_name" at "10.10.1.100:3000".

# Start with user-defined directory, hostname and port.
show-front dir_name -h 10.10.1.100 -p 5555
# Now you can see directory "dir_name" at "10.10.1.100:5555".

# Simple start in current directory and save requests to log file.
show-front -l requests.log
# Now you can see directory "./" at "localhost:3000".
# Requests saved to log file "requests.log".
