Get cli secret name from AWS secrets manager
You will need to create all the secrets in secrets manager and store under one name This tool works by matching name eg in secrets manager under secret name there will be an option to add key value pairs eg: CORE_SUBSCRIBER= [email protected]
You will need the same in your env file for it to match and write to the file. It will not write but it will overwrite and add values to these files.
How to run
get-secrets
provide path to env file and the name of the secrets
You will need to pass both a path and name of the secrets
get-secrets --path=/env --secretName=some-secret-in-secrets-manager-example
You can also provide a region:
region=eu-west-2
- if you do not provide this it will default to
us-east-1
