i am using trados for nearly 2 years now. i have to say that this is the best software i ever used. this is also the software that will probably remain with me all my life. i use trados 2009 for my old windows xp systems. i had to upgrade to windows 7 (curse you microsoft, for all the upgrades), and the installation was a nightmare. i have been trying to get trados 7 to work on the new windows 8, but so far with no success. in the mean time i upgraded to windows 8.1 and the installation worked like a charm. with a few little issues (one of them not related to the software but to the translation software i use, so i had to rename that folder) i am very happy with this version of trados. besides the fact that i can not take any notice of microsoft, i can say that i love this software and that i will not be changing my software provider.


its an excellent piece of software for the price and it offers a lot of options in terms of plug-ins and extensions. it is as simple as you can get it and the price is very reasonable. i have used other "mac like" products and they seem to be very complex, but trados studio is very simple to use and understand.


i have been using trados studio 2014 since its release and the more i use it, the more i am impressed. i have been using it with the plug-ins that are included, and i must admit that i was skeptical about them because they seemed to be a bit complex. but after using them, they have proven to be useful and they will help me to increase the quality of my translations and also improve my workflow. 84d34552a1
