Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Warning! The text below is saturated with with bile and hatred. This whole package is a joke as SamLIT itself. Do not take it seriously and never contact me about it.

Installation

npm i samlit

or

yarn add samlit

API reference

testConnectionSecurity()

Tests if you can be securely connected with samlit.net host. This includes checking if SSL certificate exists and valid, if it was issued by independent trustworthy non-russian organization, and if there is a http->https redirect. If all three checks passed, it's safe to assume Markov left the post of technical director.

Returns:

Promise<{
  /** If certificate exists and it's valid */
  certificate: boolean
  /** If `certificate` property is true, returns if certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt */
  letsencrypt: boolean
  /** If redirects from http to https when connecting with port `80` */
  httpsRedirect: boolean
}>

getAntiDDOSStatus()

Returns true if samlit.net uses Cloudflare proxy. Uses DNS lookup and official IP ranges to determine that.

Returns:

Promise<boolean>

pingMarkovPasswords()

Makes a request to markov.utidteam.com — my investigation and public article about how I hacked all Samlit students and how Markov accidentally leaked all users passwords and then threatened me with police. Returns time in milliseconds (1/1000 of second) if request was successfull.

Returns:

Promise<{ ok: true, time: number } | { ok: false }>

ping100ReasonsSamlitHasAwfulWebsite()

Makes a request to awfulsamlitwebsite.utidteam.com — my public article where I described in detail exactly 100 reasons why SamLIT school has an awful designed website. Returns time in milliseconds (1/1000 of second) if request was successfull.

Returns:

Promise<{ ok: true, time: number } | { ok: false }>

pingSamlitNet()

Makes a request to samlit.net itself. Do not use too often — may cause servers to crash, flicker lights in school's campus or even earn a salary bonus to Markov for dodging DDOS attack this month. Returns time in milliseconds (1/1000 of second) if request was successfull.

Returns:

Promise<{ ok: true, time: number } | { ok: false }>

getHomework()

Not enough homework to study физика вопроса? Get more by using this method which scraps links to Google Drive folders with homework.

Returns:

Promise<{ bank: string, zadanie: string }>
