Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Saifi School OOP CLI

Welcome to the Saifi School OOP CLI, a command-line interface application to manage students in a school environment.

Features

  • Add new students to the system
  • Check the fee structure for different classes
  • View the list of enrolled students
  • Find a student by name
  • Exit the application

Installation

To install the CLI, you need to have Node.js and npm installed on your system. Then, you can install the package globally using:

npm install -g saifi-school-oop

Usage

After installing the package, you can run the application using the following command:

saifi-school-oop

Commands

  • Add Student: Add a new student to the system by providing their name, class, and gender.
  • Check Fee: View the fee structure for different classes.
  • Students View: View the list of all enrolled students.
  • Find Student: Find a student by their name.
  • Exit: Exit the application.

Example

Below is an example of how to use the CLI:

  1. Run the application:

    saifi-school-oop
  2. Follow the prompts to add a student:

    ? What do you want to do? (Use arrow keys)
    ❯ Add Student
  3. Enter the student details:

    ? Enter student name: Riaz Hussain
    ? Enter student class: (Use arrow keys)
    ❯ Class 6th
      Class 7th
      Class 8th
    ? Select student gender: (Use arrow keys)
    ❯ Male
      Female
  4. Confirm the admission fee:

    The admission fee for Class 6th is 5000.
    ? Do you want to pay the admission fee of 5000? (y/N)
  5. View the enrolled students:

    ? What do you want to do? (Use arrow keys)
    ❯ Students View
  6. Find a student by name:

    ? What do you want to do? (Use arrow keys)
    ❯ Find Student
