Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A simple and customizable solution for replacing all occurrences of a string within a text.

Installation

npm install replace-all-custom

Usage

const replaceAllCustom = require("replace-all-custom");

const originalText = "Hello, world! Hello, everyone!";
const replacements = {
  from: "Hello",
  to: "Bye",
};

const newText = replaceAllCustom(originalText, replacements);

console.log(newText); // Output: "Bye, world! Bye, everyone!"

API

replaceAllCustom(text, replacements)

  • text (string): The original text in which the replacements will be made.
  • replacements (object): An object with the following properties:
    • from (string): The string to be searched for and replaced.
    • to (string): The string to be used as a replacement.

Returns: A new string with all occurrences of from replaced by to.
