Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Readme

Remote url to s3

Stream a file from remote url and upload it to s3 bucket. Mostly required when scrapping stuff.

Installation

npm install

Usage

  • open remote-url-to-s3.js
  • replace https://remotehost.com/filename.jpg with the remote file
  • replace folder/filename.jpg with the path where you would like to put the file in s3
  • add s3 key, secret and bucket
  • hit remote-url-to-s3.js and it will download from remote url and upload to s3

Feel free to copy the copy and usage it in your projects. No rocket science here :)
