Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Redux-Toolbelt Immutable Helpers

A set of helper functions to reduce verbosity inside Redux reducers.
Written in ES6.

Installation

The helpers are available in the redux-toolbelt-immutable-helpers npm package.

npm install --save redux-toolbelt-immutable-helpers

# or

yarn add redux-toolbelt-immutable-helpers

Usage

These utility functions are pure functions, they never change the provided arguments. If no changes are necessary, the original reference is returned.

Usually you can reduce complex code inside switch cases to just one or 2 functions calls. They are also great for writing selectors.

You may import the functions you'd like to use using one of these two methods:

import {pushItems, addItemsInIndex /* ... */} from 'redux-toolbelt-immutable-helpers'

import pushItems from 'redux-toolbelt-immutable-helpers/lib/pushItems'

Adds items to an array at the specified index.

Filters array items by id field or other calculated primitive value.

Moves an item in an array from one index to another.

Updates multiple properties of an object.

You can also update multiple items with the same value.

const b = updateObjectProperties(a, ['val1', 'val2'], 10)

Or update the chosen properties using an updater function.
