Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

This package uses Readability to provide a nice experience for displaying content from any website or url

Main Feature:

  • This provides a Safari readerMode like feel that display's content cleanly (For Reading)

How to use:

  • Just pass in a Url into the component and your good to go.

Installation Instructions

$ npm install react-native-webview-readability

Follow Getting Started if react-native-webview is not installed or simply.

$ react-native link react-native-webview

Experimental Branch (Webview Removal)

Checkout the experimental/react-native-reader branch for webview dependancy removal and true native solution to parse any website into a reading view. You can install the dependancy with npm install react-native-reader and just drop in the new package to try it out.
