Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Swipeable, Animated, Compact - Bottom sheet for react native project.

  • Animated: Moving component, Changing backdrop opacity with Smooth Animation

  • Backdrop: Touch Backdrop to close the botton sheet.
  • Customize: Customize events with onSwipe parameter that indicates swiping event.

🛠 Installation

Open a Terminal in the project root and run:

npm i react-native-animated-bottom-sheet --save

Now we need to install react-native-gesture-handler

npm i react-native-gesture-handler --save

🧬 Props

🪡 Methods

show(value?: number)

Shows the bottom sheet to value with Animation.

  • value: The value that the bottom sheet will move to(px from the bottom of the window)

Note: Calling show() without any parameter will show the bottom sheet to visibleHeight

close()

Closes the bottom sheet to bottom with Animation.

  • [ ] Make it work when content is ScrollView or FlatList
  • [ ] Add swipe-up event handler to switch sheet to full screen
