Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

react-giphy-picker

npm version

react-giphy-picker is a simple gif picker component using giphy API

On select it returns a Gif object in the format specified for an image from Giphy's search API giphy sample-response-search

Install

npm install react-giphy-picker --save

Usage basic

import Picker from 'react-giphy-picker'

Props

onSelected (required)

Handler returns the emoji character selected from the emoji picker.

visible

Opacity to show or hide the picker. Defaults to true.

modal

If you want the emoji picker to be a modal. true will set the wrapper as position: absolute. Or false, which is the default will be position: static.

Styles

Uses styled-components 💅 for the base styling.
