Getting Started with React Admin App .
follow the step to creating your own admin layout using cli.
STEP 1 :
You can create app using npx like this:
npx create-react-app yourAppName --template react-admin-layout
- this command will generate your new project with a login functionality and a single module Users.
cd yourAppName
- This will redirect you to your project's directory.
npm start
- It will run your project in http://localhost:3000/. Here are some screenshots:-
- Change APPNAME, COMPANYNAME and VERSION from the Defaults.js file inside src/Defaults.js.
- Add your server's base URL in the config.js file inside src/http/config.js.
- To change app color change primary color code inside src/styles/colors.js.
Why?
To help speed up productivity in React projects and stop copying, pasting, and renaming files each time you want to create a new component.
In this template by using a single command you can generate a whole module including components, containers with CRUD operations in redux . i.e.-
STEP 2 :
npm run generate
- above command is to generate a new module.
STEP 3 :
what is your module name ?
- Example - dashboard ,work etc.
STEP 4 :
This module will have list view of ?
- Example - post, todo etc.
-- This will be in the followings:-
- list view all contents
- as the end point in the url to fetch the lists for the list view.
STEP 5 :
What do you want in the main view ?
- options - tabs ,table ,summary ,blankfile
- Choose any one to get auto generated UI in the main view
- if you select tab output will be as :-
- On following the above steps i.e. 2nd to 5th a module will be created with its list view and main view .
