Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Rainbird Release

Codeship Status for RainBirdAi/rainbird-release

A tool used to handle releasing from master to the production branch in git. The tool assumes a node.js style package.json and a file called release-notes.md in the root of the repository.

Once run rbrelease will prompt for the version of the release, then open an editor to allow editing of the release notes. These changes are checked into master, merged into production and the production branch tagged with the version number. All changes are then pushed to origin.

Installation

npm install -g rainbird-release

Usage

Usage: rbrelease [options]
      --remote=URL   [Required] The URL of the git repository to release to
      --tmpdir=PATH  [Optional] The temporary directory to clone the repository to
  -h, --help         display this help text.
