Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

on april 24, 2007, microsoft issued build 5441, known as service pack 1. an update to the windows vista final release candidate was planned for june 25, 2007, but was postponed until july 10 due to a bug causing loss of system stability while booting into windows from certain dvd recorders. the final version of windows vista was released on august 22, 2007, to manufacturing. the following day, microsoft announced build 5444 as the first vista service pack, which was released on october 24, 2007.

on december 14, 2007, microsoft released a second service pack, sp2, to manufacturing, with service pack 1 later following on january 15, 2008. this service pack was the first version of windows vista to include the first service pack's build number, build number 5443.

in the time since the release of rc2, microsoft has introduced minor changes to rc2 (rc1 was "catastrophic") as well as created two new milestone builds: milestone 2 (built on october 12, 2006 with a build number of 5787) and milestone 1 (built on october 17, 2006 with a build number of 5776). like rc1 and rc2, both of these builds (as well as milestone 1) are available for public testing, though only milestone 2 is suitable for production machines.

the final release of windows vista came less than two weeks after rc2 was released. the windows vista "anniversary edition" (rtm) (built on january 9, 2007 with a build number of 6003.16385) was released on january 20, 2007, and it was available for free to anyone with an existing vista license. microsoft also announced that windows vista will be available on five new types of hardware from the pc manufacturers acer, gateway, hewlett-packard, samsung and toshiba. this release included a number of components which were not present in rc2, including online tv guide and music store listings, mp3 support, and the homegroup technology. 84d34552a1
