Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

ProxyCheck

ProxyCheck is a Type Safe Node.js library for interacting with the ProxyCheck.io API. This library provides an easy-to-use interface for checking if an IP address is a proxy, VPN, or has been involved in any malicious activities. It also provides usage statistics, query history, and detection history from your ProxyCheck.io account.

Installation

npm install --save proxycheck-ts

Usage

Methods

  • checkIP(ip: string | string[], options: ProxyCheckOptions = {}): Checks if an IP or array of IPs are proxies or VPNs. Returns a ProxyCheckResponse.

  • getUsage(): Retrieves your ProxyCheck.io account usage. Returns a ProxyCheckGetUsageReturn.

  • getQueries(): Retrieves your ProxyCheck.io account query history. Returns a ProxyCheckQueryHistory[].

  • getDetections(options: ProxyCheckGetDetectionsOptions = {}): Retrieves your ProxyCheck.io account detection history. Returns a ProxyCheckDetectionHistory[].
