Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

⚙️ Requirements

  • You need to install both NodeJS, Yarn, FFMPEG and Full Google Chrome to run this project (To run it on as Server Side, check actions workflow here)
  • Access to YouTube API and/or Account on Instagram

💻 Getting started

Install and Usage

$ npm install -g podcast-maker

$ podcast-maker COMMAND
running command...

$ podcast-maker --help [COMMAND]
USAGE
  $ podcast-maker COMMAND

Before start using, configure it At this step, you will be asked for environment variables for services, like Text-to-Speech, YouTube API, Instagram Login...

$ podcast-maker configure

Contribute

Clone the project and access the folder

$ git clone https://github.com/FelippeChemello/podcast-maker.git && cd podcast-maker

Install dependencies

$ yarn

Copy .env.local to .env and edit environment variables or configure using CLI

$ cp .env.local .env
$ vim .env

or

$ yarn build
$ ./bin/run configure

Use it

$ ./bin/run --help
