Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Access countries, states and cities in your JavaScript projects.

Installation

npm install platz

Usage

const {Country, State, City} = require('country-state-city');

// Get all countries
const countries = Country.getAll();

// Get all states
const states = State.getAll();

// Get all cities
const cities = City.getAll();

Country

Country.getAll()

Returns an array of all countries.

Country.getByISO(code)

  • code - The country code.

Returns the country with the given code.

State

State.getAll()

Returns an array of all states.

State.getByCountry(countryCode)

  • countryCode - The country code.

Returns an array of states in the given country.

State.getOne(code)

  • code - The state code.

Returns the state with the given code.

City

City.getAll()

Returns an array of all cities.

City.getByState(stateCode, countryCode)

  • stateCode - The state code.
  • countryCode - The country code.

Returns an array of cities in the given state.
