Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Plan Capsule

npm version

It's like a time capsule for your plans!

Little command-line utility for quickly writing down the brilliant ideas you come up with when you have much more pressing things to be doing. Open it up, add your new plan, and go back to whatever you were doing. Then, sometime in the future, you can open up your list and come back to it.

Not recommended for use in the shower.

Install

Requires node.js and node package manager (npm).

via npm

npm install --global plancapsule

From source

Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/cranndarach/plancapsule.git

To install normally (so that you can use plancapsule from anywhere in the terminal):

cd plancapsule
npm install -g

To install just the dependencies (for development):

cd plancapsule
npm install
