node-pkg-assets
Small lib to handle/publish static files/assets in node modules.
Usage
First run npm i -g pkg-assets
to install pkg-assets.
Then run pkg-assets <dest>
to copy all the files/folders listed in pkg.assets
in any package.json file in ./node_modules
to <dest>/<pkg.name>/
.
Example
Lets say the following package is in your node_modules folder:
{
"name": "example-package",
"assets": [
"static-files"
]
}
If you run pkg-assets with ./vendor
as your destination folder, the output will be the following:
$ pkg-assets ./vendor
Assets will be moved to: ./vendor
Asset(s) moved: ./node_modules/example-package/static-files -> ./vendor/example-package/static-files
Credits
This package is inspired by npm-assets. npm-assets does a very similar thing, but the output doesn't work for me.
