Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

PermId Tagger

This package takes an object and returns the object with a new filed containing AI tags as a new value .

This is a wrapper for the OpenCalais API which is a machine learning API that can tag text using AI and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to identify entities, topics, themes, and sentiment in text and social media content using this package you will be able to find out more about your content, the entities it contains and how each entity relates to each other this is useful for content analysis, content discovery, and content enrichment.

The function takes a file path, the name of the key you want to analyse and your API token which can be acquired from the OpenCalais website.

API limits

The free tier of the OpenCalais API allows for 500 requests per day. If you need more requests you must upgrade to a paid tier.
