Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Omise.js type

Third-party Omise.js TypeScript's typings support.

Why

Confused Fox

Omise.js force web developer to use CDN only which is like an anti-pattern and cause a lot of problems, one of it is lack of TypeScript supports.

Since Omise doesn't supports TypeScript, developers have to do it themself.

This repo is source code for third-party Omise.js TypeScript's typings for web developer who use TypeScript.

Getting Start

  1. Install using npm or yarn
npm install --save-dev omise-js-typed

yarn add --dev omise-js-typed
  1. Done

Usage

Calling window.Omise and windows.OmiseForm will now have type supports.

Contribution

All contributions, PRs and discussions are all welcomed.

To Omise

By chance, if you're reading please know that next time please provide better developer experience.

I'm going to be honest, I'm quite disappointed seeing how Omise lack of supports for developer (at-least web dev) by the time I was writing. (6 Jan 2021)

Omise looks great to get start at first, but seeing how lack of supports for developers is, I would rather pick other alternative provide much better eg. Stripe if I don't have to support Thai people.

I saw some devs trying to open issue for a year for TypeScript supports, NPM and stuff. Most of of it's not accepted, some is left to rot.

I'm quite rooting for Thai tech startup to go for world-class, yet lacking for supports like this is a pain for customers, if you're going to take-over this repo, I'm more than happy to giving it right-away seeing that at-least you care more about developers.

Please do it better next time, Omise.
