Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

oddiff

Colorized octal diff tool using the mac/unix od tool and jsdiff/chalk for colorized output

Usage

oddiff file1 file2

       [--version]   : prints the version

       [--debug]     : prints extra debug info to the console

Description

oddiff is a simple tool that wraps the native od command against both files passed in, and then applies a colorized diff output between the two results of od.

Results

When the two files are identical, you will see the octal representation of the file printed in a grey text to the console.

If there are any differences they will be displayed in-line in the console output with red (removed) and green (added) to the screen.
